The Grave is Empty

The grave is empty.

Do you know the scene in Finding Nemo, when the Starfish wakes up and says, “The sun is shining, the tank is clean…the tank is clean, THE TANK IS CLEAN!” (quote not word for word lol)? Well, that’s how I picture the guards at the tomb were. They get up sunday morning, see the sun shining, and the grave is empty, the grave is empty?! THE GRAVE IS EMPTY!!!

Now for them, an empty grave that they were told to guard and watch is a bad thing, but for everyone the empty grave is everything. It means that death has been defeated, that life is more than what we see, that all our toils will be made new, that our tears will be wiped away.

It means everything. So maybe you don't believe that the grave is empty, or maybe you say “ok, it’s empty, but that doesn't mean what you say it means.” However you think about it, it is empty and that means something.

I want to encourage you to ask questions, why is it empty?, what are people saying about it?, what could it mean?, and any other questions you want to ask.
